The 1st International Blue Iguana Day, May 8 2021.
25 June 2008. Forrest challenged Yellow in a faceoff for territorial rights in the QEII Botanic Park. Yellow won the match. Neither were injured.

Forrest hatched in 1998. His parents were Nathaniel and Ruth.
The Poster photo of Forrest was taken on 9 April 2004 when he roamed free in the park. He was 6 years old.

Due to the absence of fencing around the park, dogs, cats, rats, and invasive iguanas have access into the park area. For protection, Forrest was relocated to a pen within the secure area of the Blue facility. When fencing around the park is finished Blues can once again roam free within the park
